Mozart comes to Moose Jaw

Derek ZhiBriercrest College and Seminary is bringing the world’s great music to Moose Jaw. The school’s Worship Arts department is putting on a classical concert at Zion United Church in Moose Jaw Sunday, April 5, at 7 p.m.

The show will feature Calgary pianist Derek Zhi Guang Chiu, who has performed across North America and Europe. Briercrest College and Seminary’s Resonant, College Singers, and orchestra will join him.

They’ll be performing works by Mozart and John Rutter under the direction of faculty members Merle B. Matejka and Ronald de Jager.

Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. They are available for purchase at the Briercrest College and Seminary Bookstore and at the door.
