It's been a delight to watch first-year forward Chad Davidson play for Briercrest this season. The Edmonton product embodies much of what Briercrest's hockey program is all about: integrity, hard work, and determination to succeed.

Davidson is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies, and lists kinesiology and sports psychology as some of his interests after his playing career is completed.

"I came to Briercrest because I wanted to go to a place where I could grow in my faith as well as my athletic ability," he explained. "My favourite moment so far with Briercrest was playing against Lethbridge in the CIS... anytime you get to play up a level it's a great experience."

Chad appreciates the way his experience at Briercrest is shaping his whole person as a follower of Christ.

"Briercrest hockey is amazing, everyone from the top to the bottom pushes us to be the best we can be but when the game is done, we can sit down with the opposing team and share our faith."

Davidson has endeared himself to teammates and supporters with his spirited effort and team-first attitude. He is both competitive and humble, and readily accepts every role he is given.

Briercrest is proud to have Chad as a representative and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
