We are excited to welcome all Briercrest Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Alum back to campus again this year on October 16^th-18^th! The current teams will be hosting the SAIT Trojans to kick off the 2015-16 ACAC regular season, and the weekend will start with our Briercrest women taking on the SAIT Trojans at 6 PM Sask time on Friday October 16^th for their Home Opener! The men’s Home Opener will follow immediately after the conclusion of the women’s match.

There will be no charge for the weekend’s events. Alumni will be required to arrange their own accommodations for the weekend and also plan for most of their own meals (other than the ones mentioned in the schedule below). The Pilgrim Inn in Caronport is offering a special deal for alumni who wish to book accommodations at the hotel for that weekend, so please contact Sandy Kafer (samaka_wika@hotmail.com) if you are interested in that.

We will require all alumni that are attending to RSVP so that we can plan for ordering food for refreshments and meals we will be providing and also so that we can plan for alumni introductions on the Friday night during the Home Opener. Women’s alumni please RSVP by emailing Nolan Weinmaster at nweinmaster@briercrest.ca by September 30^th, and men’s alumni please email Nigel Mullan at nmullan@briercrest.ca to RSVP. Also, feel free to put your own alumni teams together and RSVP as a team (we will need to know all of the individuals on the team) or you can RSVP as an individual (for those alumni, we will be putting individuals into teams). We look forward to having as many of you here as possible and getting to reconnect with you all! Here are the rest of the details and schedule for the weekend:
 
Friday October 16^th:
6:00 PM – Women’s Match (Briercrest vs SAIT) 
*Refreshments will be served for Briercrest Volleyball Alumni upstairs in the gym during the women’s match
8:00 PM (approx.) – Men’s Match (Briercrest vs SAIT)
*Refreshments will be served for Briercrest Volleyball Alumni upstairs in the gym during the men’s match
9:45 PM (approx.) – Introduction of Briercrest Volleyball Alum just prior to presentation of POG’s for men’s match (male and female alumni will both be introduced at this time – all alumni present will meet with Nolan and Jadon at 9:15 PM upstairs in the gym during the men’s match to go over plan/details of the introductions and we will require an RSVP from all alumni planning to attend so we can coordinate the info with our Gamesday staff and announcer)
10:00 PM (approx.) – Briercrest Alumni Matches (both women and men alumni will have matches at this time)
 
Saturday October 17^th:
10:00 AM – optional extra time slot for Alumni matches (until 11:30 AM)
1:00 PM – Women’s Match (Briercrest vs SAIT)
3:00 PM (approx.) – Men’s Match (Briercrest vs SAIT)
*Briercrest Women’s Alumni will join current women’s team for meal provided upstairs in the gym at 4:00 PM during men’s match
5:30 PM (approx.) – Women’s Alumni Matches
*Briercrest Men’s Alumni will join current men’s team for meal provided upstairs in gym after men’s match
7:00 PM (approx.) – Men’s Alumni Matches
9:00 PM – Alumni Hangout at Boston Pizza and Mineral Spa in Moose Jaw (optional)
 
Sunday October 18^th:
*Alumni time to attend local churches, hang out, and catch up with old friends.
