All Briercrest teams are in action this week

Softball

Women's softball will be in action this Tuesday in Moose Jaw, before travelling to Edmonton for four games.  Tuesday night, the games are in Moose Jaw at the Caribou Heights Ladies diamond (1500 Caribou St. W).  They will be playing the University of Regina at 6 pm and again at 8 pm. Friday and Saturday the games will be in Edmonton, beginning with Friday at 5 pm against the U of Alberta. Saturday, they will be taking on SAIT at 10 am and 1 pm followed by U of Calgary at 4:30 pm.

Hockey

Briercrest Hockey will begin their 2015-16 season this weekend by hosting Keyano College this weekend. Friday night puck drops at 7pm and at 2pm on Saturday. This weekend will also serve as the Hockey Alumni homecoming weekend.

Volleyball

The Briercrest volleyball teams continue their pre-season this weekend.

Women's volleyball will be hosting Brandon University for an exhibition game Thursday night at 7:30 pm before travelling to the University of Regina for a series of games against CIS competition. They face the U of Manitoba Friday at 2 pm, followed by Grant MacEwan at 8 pm. They then play the U of Regina Saturday at noon followed by tournament playoffs.

Men’s volleyball will be travelling to Red Deer College for four games Friday and Saturday. They begin the tournament Friday against College of the Rockies at 1 pm, followed by Augustana at 6 pm. They continue the tournament on Saturday against Red Deer alumni at 10 am and then Vancouver Island University at 4 pm.

Basketball

The Briercrest basketball teams begin their pre-season by travelling to Manitoba this weekend for their first games of the 2015-16 season. They face CMU on Friday (women at 6 pm, men at 8 pm) and then travel to Providence on Saturday (women at noon and men at 2 pm).
