Claire Richardson of the Briercrest College and Seminary women’s basketball team was selected to the 2013-14 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference South First Team All-Conference.

The Brownfield, AB native was given the award at the annual ACAC women’s basketball All-Conference banquet held at Olds College Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014.

This is the second year in a row that the third-year post was given the distinction of being a First-Team All-Conference member as she received the award for her efforts in the 2012-13 season as well. Richardson had an incredible year on defense and in rebounding, ranking first in rebounds with 9.8/game and second in blocks/game with 1.4.

The Biblical Studies major was also a key leader on the team as serving as captain for the second season in a row.
