Briercrest College and Seminary men’s volleyball defeated Medicine Hat College 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-11) Saturday afternoon to advance to the fifth place game at the ACAC Championships.

The ACAC Championships are being hosted at Red Deer College this weekend and Briercrest will be taking facing Grande Prairie College in the fifth place game at 11:00 am MST on Sunday, Feb. 23.

Jachin Karg had a game high nine kills in the win, Josh Wendel had a game high three service aces and three blocks, and Cody Quiring had a team high seven digs.

Briercrest won every statistical category (34-27 kills, 7-2 service aces, 7-5 blocks) except for digs where Medicine Hat held the 37-34 edge.
