Briercrest men's volleyball 2012-13 year in review
Though the Briercrest men’s volleyball team made the ACAC medal round for the fourth straight season, losing to tournament host Keyano in the bronze medal game, it was a transition year for the program. The team started the season strong, winning 12 straight matches and sitting at the top of the ACAC standings before losing six of their last eight games entering the playoffs.
The 2012-13 season began a youth movement for the program which should create stability for years to come, and was also an opportunity for new leadership to step in moving forward. With the team returning a veteran line-up next season, the team looks to learn and continue to grow for years to come.
The season was highlighted by fourth-year Cody Quiring and third-year Josh Wendel being selected to the Second-Team ACAC All-Conference.
