Elly Wendel was selected to the 2012-13 ACAC women’s volleyball First Team All-Conference at the ACAC Awards Banquet during the first day of the 2012-13 ACAC Women’s Volleyball Championships at host Red Deer College in Red Deer, Alberta. ACAC All-Conference teams are selected by Conference Coaches.

Briercrest outside hitter Elly Wendel (first year; Caronport, SK) was both selected to the 2012-13 ACAC women’s volleyball First Team All-Conference.

Wendel was a force in her first-year in the ACAC with a team high and ACAC second ranked 247 kills this season, team high and fifth in the ACAC 46 blocks, second on the team and ninth in the ACAC with 26 service aces, and ranks fourth on the team with 185 digs.

ACAC eighth ranked Briercrest women’s volleyball begins their drive for an ACAC Championship tomorrow at 6:00 pm local time against top ranked and ACAC Championship host Red Deer College.
