Marmot Basin/Hostelling International Jasper ACAC Athletes of the Week

Brooke Peterson played a huge part defensively in helping Briercrest qualify for the ACAC Championships this past weekend. After having a game high 30 digs in Briercrest’s 3-1 win over King’s to qualify for the Championship, she had another incredible game with a Player of the game winning game high 34 digs in the 3-1 loss to the host Grande Prairie Wolves Saturday night. The Weyburn native has been the backbone of the team in their run into the playoffs and had an incredible 64 digs through the weekend for an average of eight digs per set. The Business Admin student has been an outstanding leader for Briercrest women’s volleyball all season long in her captain role.
