Matt Myers had a big impact this weekend in the two wins over Canadian Colleges Athletic Association number three ranked Red Deer. He was assigned the difficult task of covering one of the top basketball players in the CCAA in Robert Pierce and did a marvelous job, holding Pierce to under 17 points both games. As one of the team captains he leads in many different facets. This weekend, the fifth year Biblical Studies major began the weekend with a game high eight assists and five blocks to go with 10 rebounds, one steal and four points in the come from behind victory. Myers then followed up that with a clutch player of game performance with seven rebounds, eight assists and 16 points. He had a game high four 3-pointers in the game, the last with 0.3 seconds left in the game to win 96-95 in overtime!
