Coming off an exhilarating weekend sweep over second place Red Deer College, Briercrest men's basketball retains their place atop  the CCAA rankings and the ACAC standings with a 15-1 record. Medicine Hat has an 8-8 record, good for seventh place in the ACAC, and will be hungry to move into the top six and earn a bye to the Elite 8 ACAC Championship.

After an exciting split with Red Deer College over the weekend, Briercrest women's basketball will be looking to play spoiler against an 8-8 Medicine Hat team that is sitting in the tenth and final playoff position in the ACAC.

All games will be played at the Margaret P. Reimer Memorial Gymnasium in Caronport. Chenard will be adding to his record of 3473 as he faces the defending league champion Augustana who are second in the league in goals for and are six points outside of first place and only two out of second. Volleyball

Coming off of a weekend where both Briercrest volleyball teams were swept by the top teams in the ACAC, the Briercrest volleyball teams will be looking to start a winning streak in Medicine Hat to end the regular season and push into the playoffs.

CCAA eighth ranked men's volleyball (14-4) has clinched their inclusion in the ACAC Elite 8 Provincial Championships, but this weekend will determine where they fit in the standings. They could finish anywhere from second to fifth, depending how they do against a scrappy Medicine Hat team that currently sits in fifth place with a record of 13-5. CCAA number 14 ranked Medicine Hat is the only team to defeat CCAA number two Red Deer College this season.

The women have clinched a playoff spot, but this weekend will determine many different things, depending on position. With an 8-10 record they currently sit in ninth place, but they could move as high as sixth place and earn a bye into the ACAC Elite 8 or could drop as low as 10th place and travel to anywhere from Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat or Edmonton for a qualifier next weekend. With a 10-8 record Medicine Hat sits directly above Briercrest in the standings and have had a fairly streaky season this year.
