Mark was born and raised in Toronto in a non-Christian family, but became a follower of Jesus in his late teen years. When he was 19, Mark first felt called into pastoral ministry and eventually moved to Vancouver in 2004 with his wife, Erin, to pursue his Masters Degree in New Testament Studies at Regent College. In January 2010, Mark planted Village Church. Over the last four years, Village Church has grown from 50 to over 3,000 people, making it one of the fastest-growing churches in Canada.
Mark is the author of Paul and the Gospel of God (2012), and the forthcoming Skeptics Forum (2014). Mark's passions are connecting the message of Jesus to our culture and seeing people in that culture transformed by Jesus. Mark resides in South Surrey with his wife and their three daughters.
