Worship Leadership Workshop

Scott Finch, Keith Molberg, and Merle Matejka

You and your church's worship team are invited to join the Worship Arts faculty at Briercrest College and Seminary for a collaborative, professional workshop at SERVE 2010. This workshop offers the expertise and encouragement of our Worship Arts faculty in a professional workshop format. Availability is limited, so the first worship teams to sign up will be given priority.

Each team should expect two 75-minute sessions interacting within a professional workshop setting. Briercrest College and Seminary will provide amps, mics, monitors, an acoustic piano (if applicable), a house drum set, and music stands.

Each team should bring two well-prepared selections of contrasting styles and all portable instruments (guitars, pedals, keyboards, etc.) with the exception of a drum set. All personnel should be present on the day of the workshop and prepared to actively participate.

Each team will leave with the following:

  1. A renewed sense of zeal for the high calling of worship leadership and its subsequent concern for detail.
  2. A clear understanding of practical ways to enhance individual/ensemble gifts and effectiveness.
  3. A recorded CD snapshot of before and after presentations of selections provided by Briercrest College and Seminary.

To register, please contact the Core Events office at serve@briercrest.ca or 1-888-462-2202.
