Academic Search Complete is the world's most comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database. It contains a wide range of journal articles and other literature across virtually all academic disciplines.

E-books on EbscoHost (formerly NetLibrary)
This collection contains over 150,000 full-length e-books in virtually every academic discipline, with significant representation in history. The database allows for searching within the text of the books as well as title and subject searching.

JSTOR (Archival Journal & Primary Source Collection)
JSTOR provides access to back issues of important journals in the arts and sciences. The library currently has access to JSTORs full archival journal and primary source collection. Subject areas covered include: humanities, social sciences, business, music, natural sciences, psychology, and language.
 

Science Online (access provided by the Multitype Library Board)
Science Online facilitates STEM research and discovery by allowing users to locate information as well as evaluate and apply their findings. Users will find expertly researched content from encyclopedic references on core science areas and in-depth overview essays on key science topics. The database includes: over 67,000 thousands of articles and 580 ebooks in addition to thousands of images, videos, diagrams, and experiments.

Gateway to a world-class collection of primary sources including maps, photos, newspapers, manuscripts, pamphlets, portraits and more. Relevant databases include Archives of Sexuality and Gender, Indigenous Peoples of North America, and Nineteenth Century Collections Online.

Google Books
Access part or all of hundreds of thousands of books from university library collections. Google books can also be a great way to search inside books held in the Archibald Library's print collection.

Google Scholar
Access scholarly literature in various forms including journal articles and conference papers.
Also track citations of specific works.

JURN
A directory of open access journals and journals providing free access to their online archives.
