• Gifts-in-kind
  To qualify as a non-cash gift there must be a voluntary transfer of property by a donor (e.g., land, house, automobile, equipment). The following gifts are not receiptable: donation of service, time or skill, and gifts directed to a specific person rather than a program. • Gifts of securities (stocks, mutual funds, seg funds) - changes in the tax treatment of gifts of securities to a charitable organization have made it very beneficial to the donors charity to plan such a gift. Call us to discuss this easy process.
• Planned Giving
  A method of giving involving careful planning so the donor helps Briercrest while realizing intentional goals to minimize or avoid capital gains tax, increase income or rate of return, reduce estate tax or achieve other financial goals.
