I'm glad you've stopped by Student Government's web page! On this site, you'll be able to find a number of important and useful facts. But first, let me give you some vital information on who we are and what we do.
Student Government is made up of three groups: the student board of representatives, the presidential team, and the team of coordinators. The presidential team is responsible for the day-today leadership of the student body and helps to set the "pulse" for the school year by setting the annual theme and participating in college chapels. The team of coordinators is responsible for coordinating events and activities for the student body, and the student representatives are responsible for governing Student Government and representing the student body as a whole.
Of course, student government has a lot of other responsibilities as well. You can browse through the Student Government Constitution for more information on our work.
You can also track what we're doing by reading the board's minutes. In them, you can read about the issues we address and the actions we're taking.
Don't forget to meet the team while you're here. We've posted pictures of members of student government, some personal details, and contact information.
Thanks again for checking us out! We hope this site will be helpful for you.
On behalf of the entire Student Government team,
James VanderVeen, Student Body President
