
The BA Psychology/Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is a 156 credit
hour degree program in which students spend 3 years (96 credit
hours) studying at Briercrest and 2 years (60 credit hours) at
Minot State University.

Toward the completion of the student's third year of full-time
study at Briercrest, the student must apply for admission to the
College of Education and Health Sciences at Minot State
University.
Students will complete a modified version of the Core
Curriculum, as well as 4 semesters of Service and
Experiential Learning. As part of their graduation
requirements, all BA students will also complete the Senior Portfolio (PRT 400).
New students - apply to the college now and our
admissions advisors will work closely with you throughout the rest
of the process.

Dr. Hackney and his family
have lived in Caronport since January 2010, and he has found that
coming from Fairbanks, Alaska has equipped him well for the task of
living in the Middle of Nowhere. He is fond of Shakespearean
theatre, having performed in a number of productions. He is also a
martial arts instructor with the Caronport Bartitsu Society.
Ellery Pullman, PhD

Dr. Pullman has been at Briercrest College and
Seminary for 29 years. He is married to Marlene and has three
daughters and two sons-in-law. He holds an M.A. in Counselling
Psychology from Talbot Graduate School and a Ph.D. in Educational
Leadership from BIOLA University. He has been involved in a number
of administrative and teaching roles at BCS and currently teaches
full-time in the areas of developmental psychology, counselling,
and educational studies. He is a past president of the Alberta
Colleges Athletic Conference. He has also participated in a number
of church and camping ministries in both Canada and the United
States.
Dr. Pullman has been involved with public education at both the
local and provincial levels. He is also an adjunct faculty member
in the Department of Educational Administration at the University
of Saskatchewan.
