Sinclair Whittaker Hall

Sinclair Whittaker is a three-storey residence for male college and high school students. Each dorm room is shared by two students. A large common washroom on each floor has several shower stalls, sinks, and toilets to accommodate multiple students. There is a kitchenette on the first floor, and each floor has a refrigerator and microwave. The common lounge on the first floor is a great place to relax and spend time with friends. There are laundry facilities on the first and third floors, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college. Sinclair Whittaker residents eat in the dining hall.

Sinclair Whittaker Hall Specifications

Location: Connected to the H. Alvin Memory Centre, where the dining hall is located. Short walk to the Academic building, library, and gymnasium.

Dorm rooms: Double occupancy (a few single occupancy rooms available). Furnishings include beds and mattresses, desks and chairs, closets, drawers, and shelving.

Washroom facilities: Each floor has a common washroom designed to accommodate multiple students with several sinks, toilets, and shower stalls.

Dining options: Dining hall meal plan

Kitchen facilities: Kitchenette on the first floor has a stove, microwave, and refrigerator.

Student lounge: Common lounge on the first floor is furnished with sofas, chairs, TV, and DVD player.

Storage: Common storage spaces on each hall

Isabel Whittaker Hall

Isabel Whittaker is a three-storey residence for female college students. Each dorm room is shared by two students. A large common washroom on each floor has several shower stalls, sinks, and toilets to accommodate multiple students. There are kitchenettes on the first and third floors, and each floor has a refrigerator and microwave. Common lounges on each floor are great places for residents to relax and spend time with friends. Kitchen facilities: Kitchenette with stove and sink on the first floor, and kitchenette with sink on the third floor. Each floor has a refrigerator and microwave, and there is a Coke machine in the foyer.

Student lounge: Large lounge on the first floor is furnished with sofas, chairs, TV, VCR, and DVD player. Smaller lounges located on the second and third floors.

Laundry: Laundry facilities on the first and third floors, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college.

Storage: Common storage closet on each hall

Parking: Large parking lot reserved for students

 

Bergren Place

Built in 1992, Bergren Place is a three-storey residence for female college students. The rooms are designed in quads (two rooms joined by a washroom in the middle) and each room is shared by two students. A full kitchen is available on the second floor for those late-night snacks. Students in this residence enjoy main meals in the dining hall. Large common lounges located on the second and third floors are ideal locations to relax and spend time with friends.

Bergren Place Specifications

Tenants: Female college students

Year built: 1992

Location: Behind the recording studio and across from the post office. A 2-minute walk from the Academic building, library, dining hall, and gymnasium.

Number of floors: 3

Occupancy: 114

Dorm rooms: Double occupancy. Furnishings include single beds, desks, chairs, dressers, closet, and vanity with sink.

Washroom facilities: A washroom with a toilet and full bath with shower is shared between two dorm rooms. For convenience, a vanity with a sink has been installed inside each dorm room.

Dining options: Dining hall meal plan

Kitchen facilities: A small kitchenette located on the second floor includes a stove, fridge, and microwave. There is an additional fridge located on the third floor.

Student lounge: Large common lounges on the second and third floors are furnished with sofas, chairs, TV, DVD player, fridge, and microwave.

Laundry: Laundry facilities located on the first floor, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college.

Storage: There are four storage closets on each hall. Each quad shares one storage closet.

Lewis Apartments

Lewis Apartments, or 'L.A.', as it is fondly known, is a two-storey residence for male college students. The rooms are designed in quads (two rooms joined by a washroom in the middle) and each room is shared by two students. There is a full kitchen on each floor, and a common lounge on the second floor where residents can kick back and relax with friends. There are laundry facilities in the dorm, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college. L.A. residents eat in the dining hall.

Lewis Apartments Specifications

Tenants: Male college students

Year built: 1985

Location: 4-minute walk from the Academic building, dining hall, library, and gymnasium.

Number of floors: 2

Occupancy: 64

Dorm rooms: Double occupancy. Furnishings include beds and mattresses, desks and chairs, a closet, drawers, and shelving. Window coverings are beige curtains.

Washroom facilities: Full washroom per 'quad' (two rooms joined by a washroom in the middle).

Dining options: Dining hall meal plan

Kitchen facilities: Small kitchen on each floor with stove, refrigerator, and sink.

Hillson Hall

Hillson Hall is a three-storey residence for female college and high school students. Each dorm room is shared by two students. There is a kitchenette on the second floor and a common lounge where students can hang out, play games, and watch television. There are laundry facilities on the first floor, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college. Hillson residents eat in the dining hall.

Eliason Manor

Built in 2005, Eliason Manor is our newest residence. This two-storey building houses male college and seminary students. The rooms are designed around a large, furnished central lounge and kitchenette. Each room is shared by two students. Two common washrooms per floor with shower stalls, toilets, and sinks accommodate multiple students. Laundry facilities are available on the first floor, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college. Eliason Manor residents eat in the dining hall.

Eliason Manor Specifications

Tenants: Male college and seminary students

Year built: 2005

Location: Located near the dining hall, Academic building, library, gymnasium, and ice rink.

Number of floors: 2

Occupancy: 30

Dorm rooms: Double occupancy. Furnishings include beds and mattresses, desks and chairs, closets, drawers, and shelving.

Washroom facilities: Two bathrooms per floor that include one shower stall, two sinks, and two toilets.

Dining options: Dining hall meal plan

Kitchen facilities: Kitchenette furnished with convection/microwave and refrigerator.

Student lounge: Large central lounge area on each floor furnished with couches, games tables, TVs, and DVD players.

Laundry: Laundry facilities, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college.

Storage: Four small storage closets

Parking: Use the Glen Manor parking lot located nearby

Sundbo Place

One of our newest residences, Sundbo Place is a three-storey apartment-style complex. The first floor includes apartments for single staff and married students. The second floor houses mature female college and seminary students (age 21 and up). The third floor houses mature male college and seminary students (age 21 and up).
Note: these are separate and independent halls and do not constitute a co-ed residence).

Sundbo 2: Women

The second floor of this residence is home to mature female college and seminary students (age 21 and up). Rooms in Sundbo 2 are designed in quads. Each quad has two large bedrooms, a furnished common sitting area, and full kitchen. Rooms are shared by two students each, for a total of four students per quad (single bedroom occupancy may be available for an additional fee and as enrollment demand allows). Each quad also has a washroom with a full bath and shower, and a vanity with two sinks installed outside most (but not all) washrooms for convenience and easy access. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor. Sundbo 2 residents have the option of eating in the dining hall or cooking their own meals in their quad.

Sundbo 2 Specifications

Tenants: Mature female college and seminary students (21+ years)

Year built: 1994

Location: Across from the post office. A 2-minute walk from the Academic building, library, dining hall, and gymnasium.

Number of floors: 3 (1st floor is married students and 3rd floor is mature male students)

Occupancy: 40

Dorm rooms: Rooms are designed in "quads". These are very similar to a two-bedroom apartment, but the bedrooms are larger and accommodate two students each, for a total of 4 students per quad. Single bedroom occupancy may be available for an additional fee, depending on enrollment demand.

Washroom facilities: Each quad has its own washroom with a full bath and shower. For convenience, a vanity with two sinks has been installed outside most (but not all) washrooms.

Dining options: Dining hall meal plan or cooking for themselves in their quad.

Kitchen facilities: Each quad is equipped with a complete kitchen, including a refrigerator, stove, table, and chairs (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. are not provided).

Student lounge: There is a furnished common sitting area in each quad. TVs are not provided.

Laundry: Laundry facilities are located on the first floor.

Storage: Each quad has its own internal storage space

Parking: Large parking lot in front of building

Sundbo 3: Men

The third floor of this residence is home to mature male college and seminary students (age 21 and up). Rooms in Sundbo 3 are designed in quads. Each quad has two large bedrooms which are shared by two students each, for a total of four students per quad (single bedroom occupancy may be available for an additional fee and as enrollment demand allows). Each quad has a washroom with a full bath and shower, and a vanity with two sinks installed outside most (but not all) washrooms for convenience and easy access. Each quad has a furnished common sitting area and is equipped with a full kitchen. Residents living on this hall have the option of cooking their own meals or signing up for one of the meal plan options that are available at our student Dining Hall. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor.

Sundbo 3 Specifications

Tenants: Mature male college and seminary students (21+ years)

Year built: 1994

Student lounge: There is a centrally located common lounge with a refrigerator and stove available for use by residents who do not have a kitchen in their quad. The lounge is furnished with sofas, chairs, TV and DVD player.

Brygmann Hall

Brygmann Hall is a two-storey residence for male college students. Each dorm room is shared by two students. There are laundry facilities on the first floor, with irons and ironing boards supplied by the college. Brygmann residents eat in the dining hall.
