Nolan Weinmaster, who has coached the Clipper women's volleyball team for the last four years, has been awarded the ACAC Coach of the Year.

In his time with Briercrest College and Seminary, he has worked hard to steadily improve the team’s record. Last season, his team made it to the first round of playoffs.

This season, after an eight-year absence, he helped his team earn a play-off berth to the ACAC Conference Final 8 volleyball Tournament this weekend.

The on-floor results that Nolan is generating is the direct outcome of his commitment to become a level 5 leader and his buy-in to the “Champions win Championships” program being instituted through Briercrest Athletics.

Nolan is a graduate of Briercrest College and Seminary and played four years of Clipper volleyball, becoming the team captain his last two seasons.

He has also played with Athletes in Action, taking one international tour with them.

Nolan has worked hard to build key relationships in the volleyball community in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He has coached the Moose Jaw club U14 girls, and has been the head instructor at the Clipper volleyball camp for several years. Nolan has a strong knowledge of the game, a gift for teaching, and a passion to live his life and faith with purpose and intention. Originally from Yorkton, Sask., Nolan and his wife Chrissy now make Caronport their home.
