General Applicaton

To complete the application process to attend Briercrest College you will need to complete the following application steps:

Step 2

Request your High School Transcripts.
If you apply for Briercrest while you are in the process of completing your grade 12 year, you should request your high school transcripts only after you have finished one semester of grade 12. Once you have graduated from your high school, you must then contact your Provincial Ministry of Education (see links below) in order to request that your final high school transcript be sent to Briercrest College (see contact information below).

Need to request your transcript? Simply find your province or territory below and you will be directed to your Ministry of Education page. From there, it should be easy to get your transcripts mailed to us (see contact information below).

IMPRINT Program

To complete the application process to attend Briercrest College's IMPRINT Program you will need to complete the following application steps:

Request your High School Transcripts.

Education: Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., English, History, Music

To complete the application process to attend Briercrest College you will need to complete the following application steps:

Step 1

Request your High School Transcripts.
If you apply for Briercrest while you are in the process of completing your grade 12 year, you should request your high school transcripts only after you have finished one semester of grade 12. Once you have graduated from your high school, you must then contact your Provincial Ministry of Education (see links below) in order to request that your final high school transcript be sent to Briercrest College (see contact information below).*

Step 3

After your application forms are compiled, they will be sent to the review committee for approval. The review committee requires that each student must attain a minimum high school average of 70% in order to be accepted into the Education program. If the 70% minimum is not achieved, the applicant may reapply to this program in subsequent years, using their College GPA as the basis of their admission.

Step 4

When the review committee is finished reviewing your file, your Admissions Adviser will inform you of the decision that has been made regarding both your application to Briercrest and to the Education program.

Please note: non-acceptance into the Education program is not an indication of non-acceptance into Briercrest College. 

Step 5

If you are offered acceptance into the Education program, the following documents need to be submitted as part of your application portfolio. Minot State University requires that these forms be submitted in hard copy. Your Admissions Adviser will both collect these forms and submit them to Briercrest Academic Services at the end of the application season.

Psychology: Social Work, Addiction Studies, Communication Disorders

To complete the application process to attend Briercrest College you will need to complete the following application steps:

Request your High School Transcripts.
If you apply for Briercrest while you are in the process of completing your grade 12 year, you should request your high school transcripts only after you have finished one semester of grade 12. Once you have graduated from your high school, you must then contact your Provincial Ministry of Education (see links below) in order to request that your final high school transcript be sent to Briercrest College (see contact information below).*

Step 3

The following documents need to be submitted as part of the application portfolio. Minot State University requires these forms in hard copy format. An admissions adviser will collect these forms and submit them to Academic Services at the end of the application season. 

At your convenience, please mail or email these forms to your Admissions Adviser. By means of the contact information below, feel free to contact your Admissions Adviser if you have any questions regarding the completion of these additional items.

Step 4

Once your application portfolio is complete (including: a $50 Application fee, Form A, Form B, Form C, your high school transcripts, your Criminal Record Check, and the MSU Application Form), it will be reviewed by your Admissions Adviser and you will be notified about your application status.

TESOL Program

To complete the application process to attend Briercrest College you will need to complete the following application steps:

Step 1 

Fill out the  Online Application Form.

Step 2

Request your High School Transcripts.
If you apply for Briercrest while you are in the process of completing your grade 12 year, you should request your high school transcripts only after you have finished one semester of grade 12. Once you have graduated from your high school, you must then contact your Provincial Ministry of Education (see links below) in order to request that your final high school transcript be sent to Briercrest College (see contact information below).*

Step 3

After the online application form, the Christian Witness Form and your high school transcripts have been submitted, your Admissions Adviser will review your application.

If you meet the general admissions criteria, you will be asked to complete the Applied Linguistics: TESOL Program Application. This includes:

  • Language Assessment Test (LAT)
  • Application Essay

You will be given access to the instructions for the LAT and the Application Essay by your Admissions Adviser. Feel free to contact him/ her with any specific questions!

Step 4

When the LAT and Application Essay have been completed, you will be contacted to schedule an interview with the program coordinator of the Applied Linguistics: TESOL Program. 

After this interview, you will be contacted by the program coordinator, who will inform you of the program's decision regarding your application.
