3. for the college student body president, Anthony Henderson, and Tim Stabell, a faculty member, as they travel to Kaléo to encourage students and share this year's vision. Pray for wisdom, strength, and success (Jan. 3-8).
4. for this week's college modulars: Carl Hinderager's Spiritual Formation, Michael Pawelke's Issues in Ministry Leadership, Joel From's Advanced Studies in Christian World Views, and Jacqueline Ottmann's Introduction to Native Studies (Jan. 4-8).
5. for our college basketball teams as they travel to North Dakota.
6. for Sid Koop as he prepares his messages for Youth Quake around the theme, Make it Count, from 1 Timothy 4:7-16.
7. for Chantelle Erickson and Michelle Ernst as they travel to MissionsFest in Vancouver to connect with alumni and potential students (Jan. 8-10).
8. for the Clipper hockey team as they play NAIT at home and begin the second half of their season.
9. that rural and urban churches across the province will attend and be equipped by the SERVE conference in March.
10. that our new college students will feel welcome and adjust well as they arrive and register today.
11. that God will reveal himself to our faculty members and students as they study his Word and seek to understand his world. College classes begin today.
12. for renewal and growth in the lives of CHS students during their Spiritual Emphasis Days (Jan.12-13).
13. for our student government leaders to find a healthy balance between work and classes.
14. that the students who have returned from Russia will adjust well to being back in Canada and studying at Briercrest College and Seminary again.
15. for the Clipper hockey team as they travel to Augustana (Camrose). The Olympic torch will be passing through Camrose that Friday night, which will mean a big weekend for everyone. Also pray for the basketball team as they travel to Red Deer.
16. for the health and encouragement of our staff members as they pour into every aspect of our students' lives.
17. that our students will be strengthened in their inner beings (Ephesians 3:16).
18. for this week's seminary modular classes: Counselling Practicum II with Sam Berg and Introduction to Biblical Interpretation with Martin Culy (Jan. 18-22).
19. for student leaders who are building a Student Government Association for Christian colleges in Western Canada. They wish to form an alliance of stronger student administrations for the purpose of prayer, mutual encouragement, and leadership growth.
20. that Bob Krueger will be an encouragement to the alumni and supporters he is visiting in Saskatoon (Jan. 19-21).
21. that students will learn how to rest better, spend significant time in the Word, and hear from God.
22. for positive meetings with alumni and supporters in Calgary as Stan Peters travels with the college hockey team for games with SAIT.
23. for Stan Peters and Mike Benallick as they prepare to travel to Ontario to visit alumni and supporters (Jan. 25-28).
24. that students will be able to connect with various camp representatives during Camp Days (Jan. 24-26).
25. for this week's seminary modular class, Research Design with Charles Hackney (Jan. 25-29).
26. that Christ will dwell in our students' hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:17).
27. for the Development office as they process receipts and send year-end thank-you cards.

19. that the Lord will touch the hearts of young people and youth workers attending Youth Quake.
20. that David and Sandra Catterick and Michelle Ernst will make good contacts with alumni and potential students at Missions Fest in Edmonton.
21. that everyone at Youth Quake will respond to the challenge to "Make It Count" by turning to Jesus Christ and following him faithfully.
22. that distance learning mentors will be encouraging and supportive to our DL students.
23. for the blessing of the Holy Spirit in the classrooms and that God's kingdom will be advanced as our faculty teach and interact with students.
24. for Cheryl Crocker as she leads and guides the student leaders at CHS.
25. that our work with the Saskatchewan Government will clarify and more clearly confirm our degree-granting status (beyond theological degrees).
